The Probation Service – Website Design & Html Development
The Probation Service is part of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform of Ireland. The service assess and manage offenders in the community on behalf of the Irish Courts Service and the Prison Service, and in the process help to make society safer. They also work in prisons and detention centres.
As one of three approved design firms for the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform in Ireland Copper Reed Studio were invited to design the website for the Probation Service. A series of strategy workshops were held between key Probation Service personnel, Copper Reed and the project developers Bluewave Technologies. The website design project involved design of layout, sourcing of images, design of navigation and development of W3 html templates for integration into Lotus Workplace Web Content Management by Bluewave.
